When I was writing last weeks post on date night outfit ideas, I realized that girls can’t be the only ones who have trouble picking out their outfits when they start seeing someone new. This one’s for the guys who want to impress that special someone on one of their first dates. After all, looking nice for a date never hurt anyone. Plus, your girl will notice the extra effort you put in, even if she doesn’t say anything (but let’s be real, she probably will. Us girls love complimenting our guys when they look good).
Dressy:
If you’re going someplace like a nice restaurant and you wanna make sure you look nice, black dress pants and a button-down shirt is always a good idea. These are two things I’ve found that most guys have in their wardrobes, even in college. It doesn’t take much work to put this look together, though you may have to borrow a steamer or iron from one of your friends.
Dressy-Casual:
If you wanna look like you put more effort into you’re look than you really did, go for nice jeans (without holes in them) and a casual button-down shirt. Not only does it look nice, but it’ll be comfortable no matter what you end up doing.
Casual:
Just because you might be doing something low-key for a night out, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look nice. After all, if you’re doing something like going to a pumpkin patch or apple orchard this fall, your girlfriend is definitely going to wanna take a bunch of cute photos. Jeans and a T-shirt is a classic look that never goes out of style. Grab a denim shirt or flannel and you’ll be set!
