Follow Your Heart

.If there’s one thing I’ve learned spending this last week in L.A., it’s that you should always follow your heart. Whether it’s picking out an awesome outfit, or making an important decision, follow your heart, don’t look back, and definitely do not listen to the haters.

Sometimes life faces us with difficult decisions, and these are usually some of the most important decisions we make in our lives. Yes, this could be picking out an outfit for a first date or school dance, but it could also be deciding where to go (or not go) to school, or moving away from home, family, and friends. These decisions are never easy, but with help and guidance from the right people, and by listening to your own heart, I promise you will make the right choice.

Sometimes you just feel like putting on that one outfit, or wearing your hair a certain way, or even deciding to wear makeup when you usually don’t. My advice to you guys today is simple: Don’t listen to the people who are against you, they’re only trying to bring you down.
Earlier this week I was going to hang out with a couple of the girls from the group I was with and I felt like putting my hair in pigtails. I haven’t done that in I don’t know how long because it’s so hard to get my hair to stay in them. But guess what? I did it, and I totally rocked it! I didn’t wear them out, but I still tried it regardless of the part of me that was telling me not to.

So yeah, there will always be people who don’t approve of you, your life, or even what you’re wearing. Just remember that their opinions do not matter. The only opinion that matters is your own. So go out into the world, and BE YOU!
