If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you probably know that I’ve been thinking about the changing the name for a long time. I’ve been running polls on my social media accounts asking for input and opinions from my friends, family members, and followers– The results are in, and StyleBlog102 is now Beautiful Chaos! Thank you so much to everyone who gave their opinion. Knowing that I have your support truly means the world.
As readers, you probably have some questions regarding the name change. As the one writing and running this blog, I’m here to answer those questions. Below is an explanation of why I changed the name and some general things about the website and social media:
I changed the name because when I first created this blog, I rushed into naming it and came up with StyleBlog102. At first I really liked that name, but as time went on, I realized that it didn’t really represent me and my style the way I wanted it to. Like I mentioned above, I ran polls on my social media accounts because I wanted input from my family, friends, and followers. The names they chose from were ones that I feel represent me more so than the previous name (StyleBlog102).
Unfortunately, the domain name that I originally wanted wasn’t available, so I decided on www.beautifulchaos16.wordpress.com. The “16” at the end represents the year (2016) in which I changed the name. I also graduated from high school this year, so to me it also represents that major milestone/life event.
Luckily, I was able to change the domain name and still have all of my old content. I hope you will enjoy looking through the new website– I’ve slowly been making some changes this summer to make this blog as great as it can be!
