Urban Oasis

Inspiration really can come from the strangest places, like your own backyard, or in my case, the city right across the river.

I’m currently attending college in Moorhead, Minnesota, which is right next to Fargo, North Dakota. Downtown Fargo is about a 5 minute drive away from campus, so getting there is pretty easy.

I love downtown Fargo because while it’s actually a decently sized city, it still has that small-town feeling. In my opinion, it’s the perfect blend of old and new. It’s a great place to go to escape college reality and enter the real world for a while.

There are so many local coffee shops, restaurants, and stores. Every time I’m there, I find something I haven’t seen before that I have to have. Exploring is so much fun. My friends and I go downtown quite a bit and just walk around to see what we can find. I, of course, always have my camera with to document our crazy adventures.

Yesterday Kalie, Allison, and I had planned on going shopping, but forgot that a lot of stores were closed or on shortened hours because it was Sunday. Instead of shopping, we walked around and took pictures, had fun, and made some memories that will not be forgotten anytime soon.

I took the photos of Kalie and Allison, and trusted Allison with my camera to get some pictures of me!
