A couple weeks ago I found myself wandering around Fargo with one of my friends. As we went in and out of the various shops and boutiques, I found a couple of items that I absolutely needed to get.
Now, the last two things my closet needs are more jackets, and more shoes. What did I find myself purchasing? A jean jacket and a not one, but two pairs of shoes (one of the pairs of shoes was on sale for $10 though).
I went back downtown with one of my friends this last week and we took some photos of my most recent finds in downtown Fargo.
First up, the denim jean jacket. Right now, boyfriend/oversized jean jackets are on trend, and I’ve been dying to get one. The one I found is super cute with the different patches on the front and the graphic on the back. It’s fun and something that I know I’ll get a lot of use out of because it’s something that totally matches my personality.
I found this at a cute store called Proper. They have a ton of cute things, and I can definitely say that I’ll be back the next time I’m going shopping. There’s also a location in Minneapolis. Click here to visit their website and check out some of their looks!
It’s pretty safe to say that I am more than a little bit obsessed with these metallic tennis shoes. They’re such a fun statement piece, yet they’re still practical to wear. I paired them with this floral printed dress and the jean jacket for a fun, yet casual outfit. I can’t wait to find other things to wear them with. I found these at Charmed Boutique. I thought the store was super cute and can’t wait to go back. Check out their website and Facebook page!
I tried to tie this look together by incorporating some hints of metallic in my necklaces, earrings, and lipstick to match the shoes. Looking back, I think a matte lipstick would have been a better choice, but now I know for the next time I wear this outfit.
