Happy New Year! I hope 2019 has been good to you so far and that you all had a happy and safe holiday season.
It’s been a while since my last post, and for that I’m sorry. As you all know, I’m in college, and this semester was hard academically and mentally and I needed to focus on my school work.
The beginning of a new year is like a blank slate. It’s a new beginning, and you get to choose what it will be like. No, you can’t control what happens, but you can control your attitude towards what happens. Make resolutions for 2019 you know you’ll be able to keep. Set goals for yourself and make a plan to see them through. Whatever you want to achieve this year, make sure it’s true to you.
Since it’s the first Monday of 2019, I thought I’d share some tips I’ve come up with to help you start off the year in style:
1) CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES: You should be doing this on a regular basis, but it’s also something a lot of us overlook. If you haven’t cleaned your brushes in a while, it’s super quick and easy, and you’ll be amazed at how good your brushes look, feel, and how much better they work.
2) GO THROUGH YOUR MAKEUP: Take a look at your makeup and toss out anything you don’t like, don’t use, or that’s really old. You’ll have so much more space, which is the perfect excuse to go shopping to get new makeup!
3) GO THROUGH YOUR NAIL POLISH: If you’re anything like me, you probably have a ton of nail polish. I hardly ever paint my nails, so most of it goes unused. Toss out old colors that are separated or that you don’t use anymore.
4) COME UP WITH A REALISTIC WORKOUT SCHEDULE: A lot of people say they’re going to work out more every new year. Most people give up after about a month or so. If this was one of your new year’s resolutions, don’t overdo it. Take a look at your schedule and find regular times to work out that work for you. If you’re in college, look up the times that the gym on campus is open and look into some fitness classes that interest you. Go with a group of friends so you can motivate each other.
My New Year’s Resolutions
One of my main goals for this year is to post content regularly for you all to read and watch. I’ll hopefully be creating and posting some videos this year. I’ll also be focusing on my acting, modeling, and photography and have pages set up on the Beautiful Chaos website for those that will be coming soon! This year, I hope to make this blog even more amazing. Below is a contact form where you can send in suggestions for posts, videos, and any other ideas for content you’d like to see!
