Saturday, February 14, 2015. Valentine’s Day. The day for showing/telling the people you care about that you love them.
Chocolates, flowers, and stuffed animals are all common gifts. While store bought things are nice, homemade gifts can be just as, if not more, great.

Even if you don’t have a boyfriend/girlfriend/date for today/tonight, you can still look super-cute for going out with your friends and/or spending time with your family!
Most people think of the traditional pinks and reds for Valentine’s Day, which is totally fine! You can absolutely do a cute outfit in pink or red. Sometimes it can get overwhelming though…
Yesterday to school I wore this black skater skirt, ice cream cone tank, and over-dyed jean jacket.
It’s the perfect mix of cute and pink and girly, without being too cute and pink and girly. Unfortunately, at school I wasn’t able to take off the jacket because of our dress code… But it’d still be appropriate for today without it. ☺
It’s still a super-cute outfit, especially if you live somewhere warm and sunny! (Which I don’t.. 😩)
If you’re not that into skirts and dresses, jeans are always another great option!
For an afternoon of shipping with my family, I’m wearing a cute sweater, a pair of boyfriend jeans, and sequined tennis shoes.
Whatever you’re wearing today, make sure it’s something that you love because that’s who’s opinion matters!
