With Prom coming in April or May (whenever it at your school), you’re probably looking the perfect dress. Fortunately, the Mall of America has been hosting events to help you find your dream dress.
Last Saturday, March 7, 2015, Macy’s invited YouTuber, Lindsey Hughes to host their Prom fashion show, which featured some of the hottest trends for Prom 2015.
First up was pastels; pretty pale/light pinks, blues, and similar colors that are perfect for springtime.
This light pink, full length gown is gorgeous, and needs very few accessories.
Who says you to wear long dress for Prom?!? You’ll definitely make a statement in this awesome short ensemble!
This long dress is about the same color as Cinderella’s. Shi if you wasn’t to look/feel like a princess, this dress could be totally perf for you!
I personally love this light blue and pink dress! The floral print is subtle, but makes a statement. (And did I mention that it has pockets?!? Total plus!)
Next up was some more fun, brighter colors; vibrant red, yellows, pinks and blues.
So is a really simple, bright dress with a slit in the front. You could totally foam it up a bit, but you could also keep it simple. The choice is yours!
This two-piece pink-and-red dress is all about color and drama! The thigh-high slit in the front reveals just the right amount of skin, while being able to keep the focus on 1) the awesome color combo and 2) YOU!!!
I really like this picture because it allows you to really see the slit in the front.
This spaghetti-strapped yellow gown is flowy and gorgeous. Plus, since it has straps, you won’t feel like your dress is going to fall off while your dancing! (How embarrassing would that be?!?) 🙊
Here, you can really see the back of this dress. The crisscrossing straps are a great detail on the back!
This has just the right amount of sparkle on the front, so you don’t even need a necklace! If you want more sparkle, don’t worry! You could always find some cute earrings, bracelets, or even some sparky shoes!
I love the color of this blue dress! Plus, it has a ton of sparkle on the front, so again, very few accessories are needed!
This simple dark blue gown is so pretty! You could really do a lot of different things with your accessories (but make sure it’s not too overwhelming!!!)
We’ll also be seeing a lot of the black-and-white trend this Prom season.
Again, we’re going to be seeing a lot of the two-piece trend this Prom season! Since this is black and white, you could keep it really simple and get some colored flowers! 🌹
This dress has kind of a lot going on: cutouts on the ,sides an open back, a slit, and a lower neckline. Regardless of that, it works. Also, who doesn’t love sparkle?!? (I do for sure!!) 😀
Here, you can see the open back. Again, you could do colored flowers, if your wanted!
This white dress is ah-maz-ing!!! It was so gorgeous! I don’t remember if it’s a two-piece or not, but regardless, it’s so beautiful!
Here, you can see the back. I love that one price of fabric that flows while you’re walking!
This is another dress that is absolutely stunning!!! I think the scarf is what made it for me. The detail on the top is really pretty as well!
And lastly, you can’t forget the guys! Because Prom is about them, as much as it is you! These classic tuxedos are sure to match any gorgeous gown. (There aren’t any captions on these pictures. *NOTE* Bowties look super-cute with any dress!!)
After the show, the first 150 guests to receive a wristband had the opportunity to meet Lindsey and her sister. They were super nice, getting everyone with similes, hugs, taking pictures and signing autographs.

Like I said in the beginning, there were snacks and refreshments available after the show in Macy’s. The blackberry lemonade was so yummy!
Here’s my picture with Lindsey and Meghan! They were both so nice, and I loved getting the chance to meet them!
